Ilona Rios

Ilona Rios made her first dance experiences in ballroom dancing, especially in Latin-American dances. Through her many years of work in dance schools, she was able to acquire extensive pedagogical knowledge in order to teach the Tango Argentino in a sensitive didactic manner.

In 1997 she discovered her love and passion for Tango-Argentino. Her teachers included Ruben Terbalca, Gustavo Naveira, Sergio Molini & Gisela Graef Moreno, Eric Müller & Jeusa Vasconcelos and Eduardo Capussi & Mariana Flores.

In 1998 she met Salvador Rios and they started as a dance and teaching couple. Together they discovered their great love for the milonga. In doing so, they show their students that the milonga is anything but just a fast-danced tango.

Since 2008 Ilona has successfully used her experience as an Alexander Technique teacher in her tango classes and as a movement coach supports the dancers in their development towards more ease and dance enjoyment.

Salvador Rios

has a background in Latin-American folklore dances. He specializes in Tango since 1996. Inspired by the known teachers like Facundo and Kelly Posadas, Ruben Terbalca, Nito and Elba and many others he has been dedicating himself to the old Milonga since 1997.

He started teaching together with Ilona in 1998 in Germany. The focus of his work is teaching a harmonic and elegant Tango style that allows the students to develop a dynamic and creative Tango on the dance floor.
